charities, birthdays, and more!

What a busy weekend! Hard to recover from the frequent flyer week (Tuesday Vegas, Wednesday/Thursday Oregon…total miles = 2,382 for 3 days!) and get ready for a hectic weekend.

Friday night I opted to stay in after my wonderful massage at Pho Siam. Known for having the best Thai massage on all of the West Coast, I felt like a new person afterwards. An order of a thin-crusted Beach Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple completed the DVD evening. =)

Saturday morning was an early start at 7am for the Revlon Run/Walk for Cancer. It was inspiring to see 50,000 people come out (and find parking!) for this great cause. Our team, SuperRoleModels raised $4,496. for the event and had a great time doing it.

After the walk we headed to Toast on 3rd for brunch…this places never fails to amaze me. It is always busy no matter what time you go. The food is awesome, and the scene is filled with creative Hollywood-types, localites, and nervous first daters. After a quick nap and mini-shopping spree for an outfit, the night was spent dancing away and catching up with old friends at The Playboy Mansion.

Sunday was spent running all over LA; The Beach, Santa Monica, Downtown, Brentwood. Dinner was at one of my favorite Argentinian restaurants, Gaucho Grill. The have amazing food…Proveleta, Skirt Steak, Mashed Potatoes…I;m getting hungry just writing about it! The ambiance is cozy and calm…beautiful stone arches along a deep red backdrop. Sunday night was a surprise! party for Lina…at Rosen Music Studio in Los Angeles. A group of us have a tradition of doing kareoke on birthday’s…and this is our 3rd one of the year! We surprised Lina with her favorite strawberry chinese cake and a red velvet cake, along with balloons, flowers, gifts, and 20 of her closest friends! There is nothing more uplifting than being around people you adore. =)

Until next time!

xoxo
