You never know when you might have to get up and go, so I like to be ready for most occasions. Here’s a list of things I can’t leave home without, so they always come with me in my purse:
- Hand Sanitizer – I prefer the minis’ from Bath and Body works
- Cell- Or my lifeline, as I like to call it
- Mints– I love the Listerine strips or Altoid wintergreen
- Zip Lock Bag– eventually you will need it to get the liquids through security
- Snacks- More than likely a protein bar, fruit strip or low sodium V8
- Chapstick– Travel is hell on the lips, make sure to keep them moisturized
- Handkerchief– A little old school, but I use it for everything
- Ipod Nano– A must for workouts and noisy plane trips
- Travel Pill Box– For must-have vitamins
- Emergen’ C – The best defense against colds and a nice energy booster
- Digital Camera- You never know when you might need to capture a moment
- Advil- Someone always had a headache somewhere.
- Asthma Inhaler- breathing is always a good thing
- Sunglasses- My sensitive eyes can only take so much
- Visine- For when the eyes really can’t take it anymore
- Lotion- To battle dry skin
- Planner- I like old-fashioned paper, sticky notes and my Tiffany ballpoint pen
- Brush w/hairbands around handle- For the gym, convertible rides and more
