No other city in the world has the romance and fascination as the famed city of Lights. The capital city of France, Paris embodies French culture to its fullest; from the stunning architecture to the historic monuments and quaint sidewalk cafes. Below are some of my favorite things to do in Paris.

See the Sites.

Paris has so many historic places, it is impossible to see them all in one trip. Some of the must-sees are the 19th-century Eiffel Tower, the 12th-century cathedral Notre Dame de Paris and the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe. The city has several gorgeous parks and gardens scattered throughout the city, as well as several famous museums. The Louvre is  the most visited musuems in the world,  with 8 million people coming to see works like the Mona Lisa.

Indulge in the Cuisine.

France is known for decadent pastries, full-bodies wines and melt-in-your-mouth cheeses.   A meal in Paris often consists of 3 parts: hors d’œuvre or entrée (introductory course, sometimes soup), plat principal (main course), fromage (cheese course) and/or dessert, sometimes with a salad offered before the cheese or dessert.

Some popular French foods that I love include: Cafe au Lait ( espresso with steamed milk),Croissants, Croque-monsieur (ham and melted cheese on a croissant or fluffy bread) and Chariot de fromage (an array of cheese).

While in Paris, get to feel like a local by exploring apartment rentals in Paris. Not only does that give you a local insiders’ view on Paris living, but offers a totally different experience than checking in to a hotel.
