Travel: Traveling with the Girls in Style

I want to go on a relaxing holiday with the girls, but I also want it to be luxurious, and finding a break which does both is hard at any time of the year. There’s the hassle of finding flights, packing, getting the money together to pay for everything and, above all else, there’s choosing the perfect destination for all of us. We thought to ourselves about what we want from a holiday, and relaxation came top of the list. This is when I realised that I had some spa gift vouchers in my bedroom, so I decided to use them to help get us a cheap discount.

Visiting a spa sounded like the ideal thing to do on vacation, as we could get some special treatments, unwind in a pool and, when we had the energy for it, shop till we dropped. A spa weekend or even a whole week at a fancy spa resort sounds like heaven, so we’re going to do that at some point in the next few months, which is something to really look forward to, especially when we know that spabreaks.com do spa day offers.

On a spa break, there’s a lot you can do, whether you’re alone, with friends or even with family. The main thing is receiving fabulous spa treatments, which vary depending on which spa resort you visit. You can receive massages, aromatherapy using bath salts, herbs and scented candles and even have mud baths to help exfoliate your skin. Most spa resorts have their own Jacuzzis, swimming pools and even offer alternative therapies like acupuncture if you want to try something a little different to help unwind after a hard time at work.

Away from the spa, you could go sightseeing as I plan to do with the girls. Most spa resorts are near rural spots, picturesque towns or, in places like the Alps, awesome mountain ranges, so if you’re lucky enough to be near such a place, you could have a peek at the local scenery to help keep you calm. I can’t wait until I visit the spa. It’s going to be fantastic, I just know it!
