Fashion: Untucked by Chris Riccobono

Chris Riccobono had a dilemma in life.

He needed a shirt that fit well when worn untucked. He tried on over 50 shirts from leading manufacturers, and couldn’t find one that could be work untucked. Chris, like other modern men, needed something that was on trend, sophisticated, yet comfortable and tailored. When he couldn’t find the perfect shirt, he started his own business designing classic button down, ginghams, plaids and golf shirts with the perfect specs to be worn untucked and still look smart and polished, rather than baggy and sloppy.

The 100% cotton shirts ranging from casual wovens to 180 thread-count cotton were designed from the bottom up. The perfect measurements were achieved after 30 different prototypes. The Untucked shirts fall halfway between the belt and bottom of the zipper, allowing front pockets to be partly exposed.

Riccobono’s strong background in viticulture and the travels it brought about inspired the names for the colors and patterns, each style in the UNTUCKit range is named after a wine, from the Russian River and Medoc to the Rioja and Barolo.
