How to Stay Healthy for Fashion Week

A tissue and runny nose is never the best fashion accessory. Dr. Jennifer Collins sent over this list of how to stay  healthy so you can make it to #NYFW.

Wear Your Best Winter Accessories – Be fashionable and sensible at the same time.  Wear heavy clothes to keep warm and be sure to wrap up in a scarf to not only stay warm – but to prevent breathing in germs as well

*Take Zinc Gluconate Products – If you feel any cold symptoms coming on, stock up on cold remedy products that contain Zinc Gluconate as it is clinically proven to shorten the duration of a cold by nearly half

*Stick to a Healthy diet with Vitamin C and Calcium – While we all want to look our best, it is important to stick to a healthy diet and take essential vitamins, like Vitamin C and Calcium, to boost our immune system

*Get Extra Sleep – With Fashion Week comes a lot of late night partying.  Get extra sleep as the days get closer and during Fashion Week, learn to say no and avoid some of the late nights to make sure you do not beat down your immune system

Stay hydrated – In all the chaos of preparing, it is easy to forget to stay hydrated.  Stay on top of your game and be sure to carry around water or other hydrating drinks so you continue to be reminded to take a sip
