1) Ooty, Tamil Nadu
This is a popular hill station in Tamil Nadu, in the Southern part of India, wherein no matter how hot it gets in the other parts of the country, this place remains calm in its own cool temperature. Although the local tourists can have a bit of problems of communication in this place, the foreigner tourists who speak and understand English feel very much comfortable since here, every individual knows how to communicate in this language. Right from the Botanical garden where one can spend hours together watching the lush green grass and colorful flowers; to the Mysore Temple, where one gets to see a palace used by a royal family with beautifully carved interiors of old times; this place can give you memories for a lifetime.

They are at the juncture of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea and have a moderate temperature during summer. No matter which country you belong to, even if you have seen excellent beaches in your life, these islands are a must see locations since these are inhabited for thousands of years and is one of the most visited places for honeymoon.

4) McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala:
“Hail the Dalai!”
Yet another beautiful place of India, this is that part of the country wherein the chants of followers of Dalai Lama start ringing in your ears right from the time you enter this location. It has several temples with Prayer wheels that help you pray without even saying a word. If you are lucky enough, you may get a glimpse of the Dalai Lama himself, in a procession since he frequently visits this location. Also, this is perhaps a place with a very neutral climate in summer and hence many people prefer visiting it rather than travelling to places where it is freezing.

If you are a lover of castles and palaces, there is a 14th Century fort named Achalgarh that lies in Mount Abu, which will help you understand the elegance of the royal families that once existed in India.
