The W Hotels of NYC are celebrating the most buzzed about new rides in town with a social media contest designed to take guests and locals on a biking tour of the big apple. From July 16- September 3, enter the #WJOYRIDE Instagram contest.    

How?

  Step One: Head to any Citi Bike kiosk in the city and pick up a bike.

Step Two: Ride on over to W New York – Union Square to snag a #WJOYRIDE Photo Hunt Map. (Don’t forget your helmet!)

Step Three: Hit the streets and snap photos at the 5 pre-mapped locations on the #WJOYRIDE Photo Hunt Map. All of the locations have been chosen by W Union Square’s Hotel Insider and include special hashtags that reflect what one can experience at each location. For example:

Photo One: #INSTASCENE

Washington Square Park: East Side of Washington Square, East near Washington Place

An open park dominated by the Washington Arch with a tradition for celebrating nonconformity. Check out locals swimming in the fountain and plenty of street performers.

Photo Two: #INSTAALBUM

4^th Street between Astor Place and Broadway

Because no matter how you spin it, music never goes out of style. Plan accordingly and catch one of their in-store performances.

Step Four: Upload the images to Instagram using the hashtag, #JOYRIDE

At the end of the Summer, one grand prize winner who posts images at all 5 locations will be chosen at random and win 10,000 SPG points, which can be used towards a stay at any W Hotel in the world including the newly renovated Extreme WOW Suite at W Times Square. Happy Biking and snapping!
