Ibiza has seen generations of partygoers making a pilgrimage to the island in search of some of the best clubs in the world. That said, there are a number of people who come to the island to relax, unwind and soak up some Balearic sun on one of its many picturesque beaches, something that is often overlooked by the bleary eyed partyseekers when they eventually surface.

Head northwest out of Aeroport d’Evissa for about twenty minutes and you’ll come across the exclusive, luxury Ses Pitreras Hotel. Being just a ten minute drive from raucous San Antonio you wouldn’t imagine that this place is a great place to refresh and unwind. However this boutique hotel, just 200m from the some of the island’s most beautiful beaches, is the perfect place to do just that.

Designer Joan Loa is behind rescuing this 1970’s building and transforming it into one of the most sort after places to stay on the White Island. This hotel has seven unique rooms, all designed in a warm, modern way, making the stay that extra special.

Head down to the pool and you’ll be greeted with a tranquil oasis, situated next to the pool and surrounded by palm trees and yucca plants is the restaurant serving up top quality Spanish cuisine. During the day there is the opportunity to sample the carefully crafted snack menu or peruse the dangerously tempting cocktail menu.

If you couldn’t resist popping out to San Antonio or visiting one of the world famous clubs, then the in-house spa is the way to refresh. Relax with a wide array of treatments available, including a Turkish bath and a hydro massage pool. After, get set for the day by choosing any of the luxury beauty treatments available.

If you’re stuck for something for do with the day, there is a hotel yacht available for hire, complete with captain. Try your hand at snorkelling or take a day trip to Formentera; insurance is included, however, you will have to pay for fuel at €90 per hour.
