I always believe that to have a perfect Christmas, all  you need is to be with your family. While I plan to do the same this year , It reminds me of my visit to Dorset with my family the last time we were in England during Christmas. I chose the English county to celebrate a cozy Christmas, and I carefully opted for a  hotel which was a perfect blend of luxury and uniqueness.

The Christchurch Harbour Hotel and Spa is one of the most luxurious accommodations in the county. Offering picturesque views of the Mudeford Quay towards Hengistbury head, the hotel was an ideal location for a fun filled family vacation.  It took us about 2 hours to drive to the county from London. Since I was also visiting Dorset for the first time, I had only heard about it’s scenic beauty, endless coastline and calm ambiance which the county had on offer.

At the hotel, while the young ones were busy enjoying outdoor winter activities, the elders had a visit to the spa to nourish their soul and body. There is nothing better than gifting yourself a luxury spa session and investing in your well-being. The tranquilizing spa facilities help you rejuvenate and get a perfect break from your stressful schedule. Afterwards, go back to your rooms to enjoy your favorite music with iPod docking stations and adore the fantastic views direct from your bed. The harbor restaurant, Jetty by Alex Aitkin is another highlight which the hotel had to offer.

A visit to the Christmas markets of Dorset is a must. The Furleigh Estate and Palmers Brewery are well-known for producing beer and wine. Delve into the Christmas spirit by purchasing some artisan breads from the renowned farmer markets.
