Discovering All Las Vegas Has To Offer

When you hear “Las Vegas”, the first things that surely come to mind are the lights, the casinos, and couples getting hitched with the blessing of Elvis Presley.

We have to thank the movies and television shows for that, but did you know that the so-called Sin City has so much more to offer? For instance, did you know that there are plenty of opportunities for you to avail of discount golf in Las Vegas? There are more than fifty golf courses in the area; it would take you a minimum of two months just to be able to play in each and every one of them.

Las Vegas has a lot to offer for visitors, even those who are not inclined to spend the night at the card tables. Here are just some of the many attractions for you and your family to see.

Go city-hopping.

If you have always wanted to see what ancient Rome looked like, head on over to Caesars Palace and see the Fall of Atlantis show.

Take a gondola ride along the Venetian’s canals, see the skyline of Manhattan at New York New York, and go to Paris Las Vegas to take selfies at its very own Eiffel Tower.

Fly, race, and crawl.

One of the best things to do for thrill-seekers is go to Sky Combat Ace Las Vegas, board a jet, and whizz through the air in a series of loops and plunges. If that is too daring for you, then make your way to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway instead, where you can go racing by signing up for the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

You can be the passenger or do the driving yourself. For the rugged types, a session with the Las Vegas Rock Crawlers is just the thing for you. Here, you get to ride a four-wheel drive jeep and climb and crawl over rock faces.

For something closer to the Strip, go up the Stratosphere Tower, the tallest building in Nevada, and check out the thrilling rides at the top: SkyJump, Insanity: the Ride, Big Shot, and X-Scream. You can ride one before dinner, or ride them all after you eat to see how well your digestive system can handle it.

See the circus.

If you go to the Bellagio, you will not only treat yourself to a view of its iconic jumping fountain show but also to Cirque du Soleil’s show. The show, titled “O”, features more than 70 contortionists, clowns, divers, swimmers, and aerialists doing what they do best around a stage and pool that contains 1.5 million gallons of water.

It can make you remember the time you wanted to run away with the circus, and make your children ask you for gymnastics and water ballet lessons.

Eat, eat, eat.

To complete your tour of Las Vegas, you have to sample the soul food. Burger junkies can get buns as big as their heads at Hash House a-Go Go, while those who would like to have a feel of Old Vegas can try Du-Par’s in Golden Gate, one of the first casinos in the area. For dessert, get yourself some Luv-It Frozen Custard.

If you run out of days to spend in Vegas and see all of the attractions, don’t worry—it will all still be there for when you come back. Have fun!
