Fashion: Time to Re-Lux

fashion3

Remember the second installment of the Sex And The City movie? Well who says a vacation can’t be fashionable! The adult chick flick was all about haute couture on the hot sands of Dubai. That holiday you’ve been planning all year round is definitely a well-deserved break from your busy schedule. And no vacation is complete without a bit of luxury! Well there’s no telling when you just might need that ‘one’ special look. So it’s time to start packing some luxe into your backpack.

Metallic Pants

Sequins, metallic, luster, sheen is en vogue! Yu can’t possibly skip a pair of these; they’re just apt for making any casual look slightly a bit more than just casual. The best thing about metallic pants is that they look good under almost any top and at any time of the day. And they’re best when they’re skinny.

Slip Dresses

Now the maxi might be too retro, but a slip dress is simply sexy! It’s not too long and just short enough for some exotic skin show. Slip on a pair of high heels and you’re ready for a night of fun. If you have one on your checklist already, we’d advise you to slap on some sunblock in case your holiday getaway is too sunny.

The Bodycon

Yes we said it before – our four favorite sexy ladies sure have set quite the trend for holiday fashion. The bodycon is a timeless fashion essential that spells luxury – in bold – and we mean that literally! In case you don’t want an excess of fabric contributing to excess baggage, the bodycon is a small figure-hugging, curve-flaunting piece of luxe wear that is bound to get you some attention.

Jumpsuits

We think that the jumpsuit is just that perfect combination of luxury wear and comfort. Light and flowy for a long walk on the grass or the sand, and chic enough for an evening affair.

Crochet Jackets

If you’re into layering, then the fanciest way to go about it would cut out crochet over wears. Don’t go for the regular coats and jackets; you’re probably bored of wearing them to work anyway. Opt for something that a bit more revealing and eye-catching – for the rest that is.

Silk Scarves

The first of your accessories to compliment your clothes – silken scarves! The silk brings in the luxe factor, while the fact that these neck wrap arounds are available in an unlimited variety of shapes, colors and prints just adds so many possibilities to your holiday fashion. And theyre extremely functional too; if you’re not too keen on having them around your neck, tie your hair up or wrap them around your arm – make your own fashion statement.

Statement Jewels

The hottest accessory trend; statement jewelry is a must to carry along. Be them 5th Avenue’s abstract necklaces or chunky rings by Chanel or even cheap knockoffs, make a big statement with larger than life jewels. Keep your clothes simple, and throw on some statement jewelry and you’ll never go wrong!
