3. Anne Frank House

The story of Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who was forced to spend years hiding in a small room to avoid being captured by the Nazis captivated millions of people around the world. The building containing the real rooms where she and her family hid from the Nazis has been turned into a museum. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world, and has become an international symbol for the horrific deeds committed by the Nazis in World War II. It will undoubtedly be one of the most moving experiences of your life.

4. Oude Kerk

Oude Kerk is one of the many architectural wonders of Amsterdam. It is a church that is designed in the Gothic style. Sailors would often depend on the tall bell tower of this church as a way to figure out their exact position when they were out at sea. Tours of the church are given regularly, but you should be aware that the lines to get inside can be long sometimes. Therefore, you should schedule your time accordingly.
