the-views-5

If you have never stayed in an Italian Villa, here are 4 reasons we love Villa Bergolo in Blangera, Italy.

1.) The restored Italian property is over 100 years old, done in traditional piemonte stone. The villa was the ‘farm house’ of a hazlenut plantation.

It has spectacular views across the Bormida valley which forms part of the ‘Alta Langa’ (Upper Langhe), characterized by rolling hills, vineyards and winding roads which deliver breath-taking scenery around every corner – famous for its mediaeval castles, wines, cheeses, gourmet foods, truffles and Hazlenuts.

2.) Villa Bergolo is surrounded by woods and Hazelnut groves. Relax in nature, wander around the countryside, explore the woodland, and absorb the tranquil atmosphere.
3.) Villa Bergolo is situated only a 5 minute drive outside the Medieval village of Bergolo with an outdoor swimming pool, a pizzeria, wine shop that sell a fine selection and a restaurant, through the summer months you will be able to go to one of the live musical concerts…

The Medieval Village of Bergolo is 616 meters above sea level, it sit on the ridge with one side being the Uzzone Valley, the other side the Valbormida, Villa Bergolo lays on the Valbormida side around 400 metres above sea level.. On a clear day from Bergolo you can see the Alpine mountains.

4.) The Villa is spacious enough for family and friends. Invite loved ones and choose between the Nero Suite, The Violetta Suite and The Verde Suite. All are uniquely designed with their own charm.
