2015 Koro Sun & Rainforest Spa Floating Bures Visual Image-2

“Fiji’s Hidden Paradise” in the Northern islands of Fiji on Vanua Levu has something that’s making waves with this May with the debut of the award-winning Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa’s  multi-million dollar adults only Edgewater Floating Bures.

The unique individually- designed 380-square-foot Fijian-style thatched roofed accommodations showcases traditional Fijian style interior, with plantation pine and sustainably harvested wood and depicts the ultimate and intimate experience floating over the lagoon.  Each stay comes complete with sunset Fijian serenaders that sing certain nights at sunset during cocktail hour, best enjoyed from the privacy of your front deck.

As part of their stay, guests enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, rainforest trekking, stand up paddle boarding, hand line fishing, golf, traditional lovo feast, (traditional Fijian cuisine) meke (Fijian song and dance), croquet, bocce ball, tennis, cooking classes, weekly church service, a visit to a Fijian village school, and a visit the nearby pearl farm.

According to U.S. based owner, Jack Young “The new Edgewater floating bures at Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa, located on Fiji’s second largest island, are the perfect accommodation for those who want privacy and proximity to the sea.  This is a type of accommodation where guests can relax on a veranda with a day bed that overlooks the beauty of the water, kayak or snorkel from their own private deck, and have easy access to and from the lagoon right at their doorstep.”

The new bures are positioned floating within the Koro Sun Marina on the adults only peninsula amid a spectacular resort setting.  Couples enjoy the beautiful setting of a coconut plantation with 160 lush tropical acres, and an unmatched waterfront resort experience, as featured in the ABC Network television’s reality series “The Bachelorette.”

In celebration of the one-of-a-kind accommodations, they are offering a new  introductory rate of $544 . plus tax per night, including three meals a day, per couple or $272 per person based on double occupancy. Regular rack rates for the new accommodations are priced at $680 USD year-round.

The Resort is also toasting the completion of the unique floating bures with an “Afloat in Paradise” Package priced at $2,720 per couple, for 5 nights accommodation USD plus tax available through August 1, 2015. For more information: www.korosunresort.com
