The United States is the perfect place to travel this summer, with something for everyone. From expansive cities to rolling hills and glamorous beaches, America has it all.

If you are planning a trip to the United States this summer, here are a few trips to make your travels seamless.

1.) Americans are very friendly. Even in places like New York City, people will greet you and talk to you. In big cities, you can ask anyone for a little help.

2.) Leave room in your suitcase. Shopping in the United States is much cheaper than several other countries, and the variety is unlimited. Keep in mind the price on the sticker isn’t actually the final price, don’t forget to add on sales tax, which varies from state to state.

3.) Don’t forget to tip. Anyone offering a service in the United States works off of tips. This includes the waitress, hairdresser, nail technician, taxi driver and bellboy, to name a few.

4.) Everything is measured in inches and feet, miles, gallons and pounds rather than the metric units.

5.)Try the local food. Every region has something that they are known for. In New York City it is pizza and bagels, Philadelphia, their Cheesesteak Sandwich. While America is known for it’s many chain restaurants, every region of the country you will find unique eats. Also, food portions are huge!

7.) Driving in America varies from state to state. While everyone drives on the right side of the road, individual laws change depending on where you are. Check local laws before renting a vehicle.
