- W New York – Downtown is hosting Walk In Closet on Tuesday, September 13th from 5:30 – 8:30pm timed with Fashion Week. It will be an evening event that will showcase up-and-coming women’s fashion brands. Brands in attendance include Shop with Roxx, Bandits Swimwear, Lukka Lux activewear, Tangerine NYC, and Angela Roi ethical handbags among others. The event will take place on the top two floors of the W Residences (Floor 57), with 360 degree views of Downtown Manhattan. There will be a cocktail tasting and a complimentary hair styling beauty bar provided by Beautini. The event link can be found here.
- W New York – Union Square will be hosting What She Said from 3-5pm on Wednesday, September 14th timed with Fashion Week. The event is part of W Hotel’s What She Said speaker series focusing on empowering women through the inspirational stories of the world’s top entrepreneurs and trailblazers. The guest speaker will be cosmetics industry vet and NARS International Lead Makeup Stylist, Uzo. Widely recognized as Francois Nars’ sidekick, Uzo has been with NARS for more than 15 years and has worked with clients including Naomi Campbell, Drew Barrymore, Nicki Minaj, Toni Braxton, FKA Twigs and many more. - W New York – Union Square, in continuation of the What She Said event, will host an exclusive master class with Uzo teaching guests in-depth makeup techniques on Thursday, September 15th from 6-8pm. Inspired by New York Fashion Week, the class will show guests how to translate a runway look into wearable looks for the real world. The master class is a ticketed event open to the public. - At W New York – Times Square, the next Broadway at W Times Square concert will be by the cast of The Color Purple on Sunday, September 18th starting at 7pm. Broadway at Times Square is an ongoing series of acoustic concerts hosted by Daniel J Watts of Hamilton. The ongoing concerts feature special guest appearances and performances by the cast of a different Broadway show, taking place in the hotel’s Living Room. Upcoming performances are slated to be Hamilton (October 9th) and Kinky Boots (October 23rd). More info about the performances can be found here.
- W New York’s Midtown Love event will return for fall on Thursday evening, September 29th. Midtown Love is an ongoing series of events held in W New York’s Living Room designed to reinvigorate a love for Midtown Manhattan and raise awareness for up-and-coming NYC talent. This month’s Midtown Love will highlight rising NYC fashion designers, many of whom will be in attendance.
