September is National Yoga month, and if you are an experience yogi or trying it for the first time, now is the perfect time to center your mind, body and spirit. Here are a few great ways to indulge in National Yoga Month.

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain

This gorgeous premier desert resort in Scottsdale, Arizona features the Sanctuary’s Satori Wellness Retreat. Satori Wellness includes four or five days of activities custom-designed by a certified personal trainer who will personally guide you through an individualized health and fitness program.

Activities include an automated weight management plan, a fitness assessment, guest’s choice of wellness classes and a selection of spa treatments at the world-renowned Sanctuary Spa. After departure, trainers will follow up with participants to provide further motivation and adjust the guest’s personal plan as needed.

The exclusive resort has also created their own hybrid yoga/tennis program, called Zennis.

Sanctuary’s tennis pros instruct a movement-based tennis clinic, emphasizing the principles of sport-specific yoga along with functional stretches. The Zen portion of Zennis helps promote relaxation, proper alignment and the fluidity necessary for the athletic portion of tennis. Zennis is $50 per person.
