Green(ery) is not only the Pantone Color of the Year, but it’s another way we can celebrate the beloved and boozy St. Patrick’s Day. Check out these New York hot spots for some great greenery this St. Patrick’s Day:
Beauty & Essex
Chef Chris Santos and TAO Group’s Beauty & Essex of the Lower East Side will be getting into the holiday spirit with one of their signature cocktails, the Emerald Gimlet – featuring Belvedere vodka, basil, lemon nectar and fresh lime. This refreshing cocktail will make your Instagram followers green with envy!
If you aren’t gaga for the gimlet, head to VANDAL on the Bowery, to enjoy their crowd favorite dish, Crispy Chicken & Hong Kong Egg Waffles with braised collard greens to keep with the green theme.
And if sweets are more your thing, make a reservation at TAO Downtown to enjoy a favorite dessert dish, the Grasshopper Layer Cake with Tokyo chocolate cookie and mint mousse.
If you choose to spend St. Patrick’s day in the comfort of your own home, treat yourself and friends to a sophisticated Baileys cocktail. As the Original Irish Cream Liqueur, it’s the perfect indulgence to honor the Emerald Isle. This Baileys Irish Egg Cream cocktail was created by NYC Mixologist Meaghan Dorman and is simple, fun and tasty!
