Cocktail for a Cause at Tratto, San Francisco

Tratto, a new trattoria within The Marker in San Francisco, recently announced a charitable new cocktail, The Negroni Flip, presented in a fizz glassybaby drinker.

For each drink purchased, portions of the proceeds are donated to the glassybaby white light fund. Tratto’s Beverage Director Cynthia Tran crafted this exclusive cocktail comprised of Beefeater Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth, an egg and garnished with luxurious edible red pearl dust. The cocktail is priced at $65 which includes the glassybaby drinker while supplied last.

Inspired by the healing light of a candle in a hand-blown votive, glassybaby was founded by three-time cancer survivor Lee Rhodes, and 10% of all sales of glassybaby products goes to organizations that help people, animals and the planet heal. The company has given hope, beauty, kindness and more than $7 million to organizations through its white light fund. The votives and drinkers are hand-blown by artisan glassmakers in Seattle and Berkeley and each color has a significant name and story, making it a lasting, thoughtful gift that gives back to the community.

The Negroni Flip glassybaby cocktail is one of many ways Tratto gives back to its community. The restaurant is proud to have donated to two philanthropic organizations that benefit the Bay Area this year having recently participated in Chefsgiving to support those devastated by the North Bay Fires, and makes donations to Food Runners in an effort to keep edible food from being discarded.
