Name: Sabrina Piccinin

City: Venice Italy

Occupation: Luxury Villa Rentals Expert, Travel Consultant

Travel Style: Luxury traveler (recognisable by brand-name luggage and designer sunglasses) always consults the latest trends in tourism before planning a vacation. With passport stamps from Milan to San José and everywhere in between, the luxury traveler knows quality is always better than quantity.

Favorite Destination: Lake Como, Italy

Necessary luxury: The most precious gift in life… is LIFE, so I try to make the most and best out of each day I am given. In order to do so, I have realised that planning and preparation is key. This is why my iPhone is my first necessity, so I will be always organised. Staying fit and healthy so I add my Darphin cosmetics and exercise is another necessity.

3 Travel Things You Can’t Live Without: A lightweight travel blanket, vitamins and exercise clothes.

What does travel mean to you? To me, traveling is just going somewhere, anywhere, whether familiar or new. It doesn’t matter if it’s the next town over, a new country or a continent on the other side of the world. And I personally don’t think it matters if you’re gone for one day or one year or one decade. As long as you have even the slightest interest in the destination you’re visiting, and you’re open to learning about the places you visit and about yourself in the process, I think you’re traveling. It encompasses a great range of experiences, I know, but I personally don’t think the word ‘travel’ warrants a more complicated description.

One of your guilty pleasures? Trying all the different foods.

What does luxury mean to you? Luxury is not the service I want to give….Its the experience that you will never forget.

Your favourite luxury item: Gucci travel bag

Your favorite travel story: Arabian Sands by Wilfred Thesiger

Your best travel tip: MAKE A LIST. About a week or so before each trip, I make a mental list of items I don’t want to forget — which I WILL forget if I don’t write them down. I’ve learned that when I think of something, I need to write it down.
