Travel Guest Post: Las Vegas

LasVegas2

As we all know, Las Vegas has a wealth of attractions and is a literal hype of activity 24/7. Along with an abundance of casinos, Sin City has many other top attractions to see and engage with, that are perfect for those of us that love adrenalin or who simply want to relax after an evening’s poker! There is fun and games to be had for everyone, so if you are visiting Las Vegas soon or planning your holiday, then these attractions are not to be missed!

The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino

The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino

The Cosmopolitan is quite simply, one of the most stylish Casinos on the strip! It is sheer decadence and Las Vegas personified, which is why it is not to be missed this year. The interior of the hotel, casino and in-house bars and club are laid out with comfort being of the uppermost importance, with luxurious leather arm chairs, tables and a onsite spa – heaven!

The casino offers a large number of traditional games such as Baccarat and Roulette, which is perfect; but the most interesting part of this casino has got to be the separate room for Sports betting and the first of its kind casino cabanas where you can take part in the social atmosphere as well as gaming. This is very much the kind of gaming we gain from online casinos such as Intertops Casino, which is why the Cosmopolitan really is ahead of its time. Once you have finished placing your bets then why not dance the night away at the in-house night club, The Marquee. All this under the roof of your hotel!

The Vegas Indoor Skydiving Centre

simulates the free fall aspect of skydiving. Traditional skydiving out of a plane, lasts about 30 to 45 seconds. By visiting the skydiving centre, you’ll get more time and experience the same feeling. Ok, so the view may be completely different and certainly not as stunning, but this is much safer and you don’t have to throw yourself out of a plane – I know which I will be choosing!

Don’t worry, you won’t be going in blind either, you will be in a small group of about 5 and will have a guide with you. There will be a short safety lesson, you will get fitted for your suit and the you are off! The room is well padded, you may bounce off the sides a little and you will float about 7 feet off the ground!

The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

If you thought the nightlife in Las Vegas was the wildest thing then think again, welcome to the Secret Garden where big cats roam and the scenery is second to none! The Secret Garden opened in 1990 within the Mirage and has attracted visitors ever since, due to the selection of big cats that you can view in this mini zoo! Set out very much like a story book garden, come and see white tigers, lions, leopards and jaguars as well as some unusual and rare plants.

This hidden gem also includes a dolphin habitat that is surrounded by luscious palm trees and cafes. You can simply sit and watch the dolphins, or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, why not get in the pool with them. These are not performing dolphins and the mirage are very keen to point out that this causes them stress, so you will really be able to view how they are in the wild.

The Luxor Casino and Hotel

The Luxor Casino and Hotel

Fancy taking a trip to Egypt whilst on your holiday, then this is the place to visit! The Luxor Casino is set within the most amazing, luxury pyramid that certainly gives the originals a run for their money; it even has a replica Sphinx!

The casino is set inside this majestic pyramid and is great for first time gamers and those who are experienced, my tip would be to try the craps tables, as the buy ins are relatively low so the risks aren’t too bad. There are also slots, table games and a sort betting bar! The food is a must as well whilst here, it is expensive but it is worth every penny!

Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp

Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp

Ever fancied being a rock star for the day, well now you can with this fantasy Rock ‘N’ Roll camp that lets you belt out your favourites in the comfort of a working music studio!

This is no ordinary studio session, not only can you hire instruments, have your own Roadie and get a souvenir back stage pass, but you also have 4 separate day packages to choose from. You can have a basic package where you get 2-3 musicians to jam with you, or you can go all out and choose the arena package where you get picked up from your hotel, get a full band to use and a swag bag full of groupie fan items!

Whatever you chose to do on your trip to Las Vegas, these are all great choices and staying within a city that boasts so much variety, you will certainly never get bored.
