The wealth on display in Dubai is sometimes hard to believe. Dubai is simply made for luxury living, and if you are looking for a luxury vacation destination, you really cannot do much better. Here are a few suggestions of where to go and what to do when you visit Dubai if you want to lead a life of luxury during your vacation.
Stay in a Luxury Hotel
There are no shortage of luxury hotels in Dubai, but if you really want something to write home about, stay in the Burj Al Arab. Designed in the shape of a 1,000-foot sail, it is the epitome of luxury accommodation and is often referred to as the only seven-star hotel in the world. Although that is disputed, it does give you an idea of what to expect.
However, you are not limited to the Burj Al Arab for luxury accommodation. There is also the Bab Al Shams in the desert just outside Dubai, or the 5-star Atlantis Hotel on Palm Island complete with restaurants, beaches, and a water park. So if you’re looking for the best luxury accommodation on your vacation, you won’t have trouble finding something suitable.
Go Shopping at The Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall is one of the largest malls in the world. With over 1,200 shops, it is absolutely vast, and attracts tens of millions of shoppers every year. Go wild and splash your cash on whatever luxury items you can find, and once you are done with shopping, you can visit the Dubai Aquarium and Dubai Ice Rink, also located inside the mall.
Visit the Gold Souk
The Gold Souk in Deira is one of the most famous gold markets in the world, and no trip to Dubai is complete without spending some time walking through the stalls and marveling at the treasure on display. It really is an awe-inspiring sight, and if you have not already spent all of your money at the Dubai Mall, you could pick up some stunning jewelry here for a good price.
Eat Out in Style
Fine dining is easy to find in Dubai. There are many excellent restaurants offering a selection of cuisine from all over the world, and the food is of the highest quality. You could visit one of the restaurants at One&Only The Palm, complete with beautiful views of the skyline, Mediterranean cuisine, and resident DJs, and you can even arrive on your private boat if you wish. Or go to Al Iwan, the restaurant in the Burj Al Arab, which serves up a selection of exquisite Arabic dishes. For something more low-key, head to the Basta Art Café in Bastakiya and cool off with an iced mint tea.
Dubai Marina
Stunning views are one reason to head to Dubai Marina, but you will also be able to enjoy the spectacle of some of the most magnificent yachts to be found anywhere in the world. You don’t have to own a yacht to enjoy a trip to the marina, as simply admiring the boats on display is an activity in itself.
Discover the High Life in Dubai
There is nowhere on earth like Dubai. Even when you have done all the above, there is still so much to see and do. If you want a luxury vacation, you cannot go far wrong here, so follow the suggestions above and enjoy a fantastic luxury vacation in style.
