We are now in spring, one my favorite seasons of the year, even though I cannot deny that I’m dying to take out my shorts, sandals and all my summer wardrobe. Rocky Point has a great weather year round, the summer months are the best. 

Long days of summer in Rocky Point, are great because there are so many activities to do and enjoy in the outdoors and is time to do everything you want. If you like the sea, how about some snorkeling is clear waters of the Sea of Cortes? Or if you are already an expert how about deep-sea diving where you can appreciate all the incredible diversity in marine wild life that only the Jewel of the Mar of Cortes can offer. In this small town there are some companies dedicated to do this activities in a safe and professional way, so no doubt to try this fun activities. One of the favorite activities to tourist and local is to take a walk in an Ultra light. This way you can see all the beautiful town from up in the sky, this is even better when you do this trip during the sunset. Because you know what they say, “Rocky Point has one the most beautiful sunsets in the whole world”. This way I guarantee you will have a unique experience in your next trip Rocky Point.

This time of the year is also the best time to take a boat tour the Famous Bird’s Island also known as Isla San Jorge. In this place you can appreciate a big colony of Sea Lions (about 2500 specimens) along with dolphins and other species indigenous to the Gulf of California.

In these Resorts you can spend your day in the swimming pools, Spas or even dining on the exclusive Restaurants inside each Resort. Las Palomas Resort one of the best resorts in town also has a Professional level Golf Course just in the heart of Sandy Beach.

“Boring”  is not a word you can actually say in Rocky Point, So next time, only bring your swim suit, sandals and sun block. We take care of everything else!
