With fall coming right around the corner, what better way to celebrate the change of weather and cooler temperatures than a trip to Butlins with the whole family?
Why not spend October half term breaks away with all the family? Billy Butlin opened his first resort in 1936, with the goal to bring families perfect vacations affordably. Now, in 2013, the UK-based company has properties all over the world.
Butlins resorts offer various accommodation options to cater to different tastes, styles and budgets. These range from “Standard” rooms and apartments to “Silver”, “Gold”, and “Deluxe” rooms and apartments for higher levels of luxury. There are also “BlueSkies” apartments available at Minehead, and 3 luxury hotels at Butlin’s Bognor.
Butlins was famous for its iconic “chalet” accommodation, which was originally the only form of accommodation and consisted of many long lines of single bedrooms in blocks known as “chalet lines”. These were arranged so that each line of chalets faced another line, with a grassed area in the middle. Basically furnished, some of these chalet lines are still used today with modern upgrades.
Each resort location features a “splash waterworld”. Fun for the whole family, this large indoor water park features waterslides, spas, a wave pool and a lazy river. The little ones also get special attention at Butlins, with facilities like playgrounds, arts & crafts room, Junior Driving School and nursery services. So plan the ideal vacation and have brilliant fun away on Uk half term breaks!
