Autumn is getting cold, getting wet and getting fed up, right?

Wrong! This autumn we will have none of that nonsense. Autumn is a whole host of fashion opportunities, people! Now that you can bear to wear more than one layer at a time, thanks to the sudden drop in temperature, you can experiment with the many delightful looks that are on offer out there. This season, there is so much going on. If you like foraging in the woods and making friends with woodland creatures, then you’ll feel right at home with the animal prints and t-shirts which are bang on trend now. College chic Clueless-style is back with a vengeance, so dig out your 1990s baseball cap and pleated mini skirt, as well as a bomber jacket or two. Likewise, if you are a fan of Nirvana and also like to keep things simple in the day, then you’ll love the grungy look skinny leather jeans and boyfriend cardies on offer. Those more girly among us will feel right at home with the gorgeous dark floral prints in the shops, big colourful blooms with just a hint of edginess. Then there’s the high heel shoes which are on offer, which will delight and amaze you in equal measure this season. You will love the sexy, edgy styles that are out there. Block heels, platforms, wedges which work in the wet as well as the warm, peep toes, shoe boots, cut out shoes, double ankle straps…the list is endless. The difficulty comes in choosing which ones you like the most. So, just why are the heels so hot right now? It is partly as a response to the trends seen at the Autumn/Winter catwalk shows, where all sorts of weird and wonderful outerwear were on display. This Autumn it’s all about keeping it real, whilst at the same time glamming things up wherever possible. That’s why there is such a variety of heels to choose from, because they are meant for the everyday as well as for special occasions. Wear your court heels to work with leather look jeans and a rose print wrap blouse. Take the kids to school in a chunky knit cardigan, slouch trousers and wedges. Work the office annual review party in a maroon midi dress and matching knee boots. Heels are hot this autumn because they’re fun, stylish and versatile. Whatever your style preferences, with a little careful searching you will be able to find the perfect pair of heels. If you think about it, buying a pair is a pretty smart choice. Not only have you instantly enhanced your sex appeal by elongating your legs, you’ve also spiced up your outfit at the same time. Better yet, heels, unlike dresses, can safely be worn to as many occasions as you wish.
