  • Panda Power – At the San Diego’s Zoo is a pair of giant pandas. It’s also the birthplace of Hua Mei, the first giant panda to be born in captivity in over a decade. Beyond the pandas, the zoo is home to a range of other animals and is one of the best zoos in the country currently.

  • Favorable Climate – The average daily temperature in and around San Diego is a pleasant 70.5 degrees Fahrenheit – not too hot and not too cold. And humidity is usually between a comfortable 65% and 75%. For fun in the sun outdoors, the area is hard to beat anywhere in the world weather wise.

  • Beaches – Not only is San Diego home to around seventy miles of beaches, most of the beachfront property is immaculately maintained and open to the public. For anyone who likes playing in the ocean or just sitting on the beach listening to waves, San Diego makes it easy to live the dream.

When you’re in San Diego, the sales tax is 7.5%, which makes it super easy to leave a tip at restaurants. For 15%, you just have to double the tax on the receipt. This doesn’t make San Diego unique, but it is neat and one of the many reasons people love traveling to this city. From high arts and culture to history and natural beauty to nightclubs and bars, all types of people are going to find a lot to do in the city.
