The opening night’s film on Thursday, March 19 will be “Red Dot on the Ocean: The Matt Rutherford Story” and will be shown at theChilmark Community Center. Some of this year’s highlights include “Rosewater,” Jon Stewart’s directorial debut; “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry,” a documentary centered on women’s empowerment; and “What Happened, Miss Simone?,” a look into the life of singer, songwriter and musician Nina Simone. All films will be screened at the Chilmark Community Center or Chilmark School.
