The Bellagio Fountains are one of the most well-known fountains situated on a manmade lake outside the popular Bellagio hotel and casino. Not only are they imposing in size, but they feature a choreographed water performance occurring every 30 minutes in the afternoons and every 15 minutes at night. #2: The Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy
La Fontana di Trevi is one of world’s most famous European fountains and is located in the Roman district of Trevi. Despite the exquisite Baroque architecture and impressive size standing 26.3 meters high and 49.15 meters wide; the drawing feature of this fountain is its assumed good luck charm. According to Roman legend, by throwing a coin into the fountain, you will receive good luck on your travels and will return to Rome.
#3: The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, Barcelona, Spain
The Magic Fountain located in the Montjuic area of Barcelona and was created as a feature for the Barcelona International Exposition in 1992. The primary focus of this fountain is to provide performances and during the early 20th century choreography included light exclusively; however, in the 1980s music was introduced and the fountain was restored as a feature for the 1992 Summer Olympics. #4: The Fountain of Wealth, Singapore
According to the Guinness World Book of Records, the Fountain of Wealth is the world’s largest fountain. Yet, this is not the only unique and interesting factor regarding this particular fountain. Firstly, the Fountain of Wealth is located in the Suntec City shopping mall – one of the largest malls in Singapore. Similar to additional fountains, it presents light performances during the night with some laser dedications if requested. If you take a stroll through the All-Russian Exhibition Center, you are sure to come across a central attraction known as the Friendship of the Peoples fountain. Its immense size with sixteen gilded statues is a representation of the Republic of the Soviet Union.
