Selma Blair Visits The Ranch 4.0

Fresh off her appearance on “The People v. O.J. Simpson”, acclaimed actress, Selma Blair just completed her stay at the celebrity hotspot and wellness retreat The Ranch 4.0 at Four Seasons Westlake Village.

The Ranch 4.0, launched in September 2013, is a four-day (Thursday-Monday) abbreviated version of the acclaimed week-long Ranch at Live Oak / Malibu program. The Ranch 4.0 is designed for those looking to jump-start a healthier lifestyle that are unable to be away from home or work for a full week and who desire to maintain more connectivity during their program immersion.

Like The Ranch’s 7-day stay, the daily routine at The Ranch 4.0 consists of 8-10 hours per day of rigorous exercise including 4 hours of morning mountain hiking and an afternoon full of exercise classes and daily massage (Friday – Sunday). The 4-day program is priced at $4,100.

Selma chronicled her visit via Instagram and Twitter, and had nothing but rave reviews about her experience:

“I heard about The Ranch through friends. One lifelong sugar addict came home glowing and continued to stay on the program with ease because she felt so good.

I had to go. I can’t begin to say how glad I am.  The staff was nurturing and funny and knowledgeable. The hikes were breathtaking and challenging, showing me an entirely different view of the California I am surrounded by every day. Friendships formed over these hours long hikes and over the simply gorgeous and healthful meals we were served (albeit very small meals, healthful and clean. We are detoxing after all).

This getaway was a real reminder of what good health means and how much I want that for my life. I wish I could return to The Ranch 4.0 every month, as I have never smiled so much. I miss it already and don’t want to lose my own ranch glow. A real luxury, this feeling. This place. Thank you.”

Past celebrity guests have included: Lea Michele, Brittany Snow, Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, Busy Phillips and Julianne Hough.
